On 11 nov 2010, the anti talk faction on National Democratic Front Of Bodoland(NDFB) issued a warning to security forces and indian communities living in the Bodo-Dominated areas, of  horrible attacks. In a statement issued by its organizing secretary, the NDFB said it would by compelled to take horrible action if security forces committed any mistake or crime against the outfit.

Earlier on 31 oct 2010, the outfit had issued a statement saying that it would kill 20 indians for every NDFB cadre killed by the security forces. Barely a week later, the outfit struck, first simultaneously at two places, and then a series of attacks within a span of 4-5 hours on 9 nov -nine in all- leaving 20 dead. The majority of victims-hindi speaking people. Three more attacks followed the next morning, taking death toll to 23.

The Army and Police have been constantly after the NDFB faction once its involvement in the serial killing but the strategy against the NDFB requires a rethink. But "Will it ever stop Raining" ?
